The MADMAN wine labels were created to bring attention to the local winery and create seperation on the shelves among the endless array of wine labels. Picking out wines can be a daunting task. Having a label that is as intriguing as the name, could help a curious customer take a chance on a new wine.
There are 3 different wines at the MADMAN winery. The Rutherford Red, Shay Chardonnay and Rosita Rose. Each of these wines presented a different natural color which I tried to emulate on their respective labels while the standard Burgundy, Forest Green and Gold held down the brand’s colors.
The retro look of the wine labels is intended to evoke Madmen styles of the 1950’s and 60’s.
