Cosmo’s Pizza is a local pizza company that is a staple in Boulder, Denver and surrounding areas. Cosmo’s started in Bouler and has grown immensely in the past decade or so. I believe they have outgrown thier branding because they are expanding to more suburban areas.
. The new logo creates movement within the name and humorously suggests that pizzas are made in the heavens, which also presents a double entendre.
Cosmo’s is historically a late-night outlet for college kids with the munchies. Although Cosmo was the original owner, I wanted to give more meaning to the word. As one kid may ask another, “Where’d you get that pizza?” The other would reply, “Cosmo’s. It’s where pizzas are made!”
